Grillin' Love in da Tub

Today was one helluva a BBQ.  People who rolled up to the BBQ were: Frances, Ragu, Elbert, Crystal, Steph, Grant, Feng, Angela, Cindy, Alex, Andy, Lisa, Karen, Matt, Doris, Dennis.  Sam's place is hands down perfect for BBQin'.

Hot dogs, sausages, hamburgers, and RIBS...holy crap, the ribs were impressive.  A last minute cooking effort by Sam for Dennis, BBQ ribs were made, and cooked to perfection.  Amazing stuff.

And the hot tub!  Glorious, glorious hot tub...

Tons of fun.  A great mix of people from a whole bunch of different places.  I'd call that day a success.

Plus, there's tons of meat leftovers that I get to eat.  Woo!

Alcohol vs. Cigarettes

In a recent conversation I had with Dennis on alcohol vs. cigarettes:

I can't stand watching people put crap like that in their lungs
I mean, seriously
the liver was designed to take a beating
it's got regenerative properties
lung tissue?  not so much.
 Dennis:  hahaha
me:  cut a lung in half, and see if that sucker grows back
I mean, lungs are so weak that you need redundancy
liver, you only get one because you should only need one
 Dennis:  HAHAHA
 me:  ex-actly

I figure it should be documented.  Wisdom like that comes rarely out of my head.

Doctors

I've finally decided I've sick of being sick...mild hacking, the constant sensation of water in my left ear...I'm guessing I have multiple bacterial infections.  For WEEKS.

I give up.  Going in to see the doctor tomorrow.  Thank goodness for insurance.

Oh, on that note, the total bill covered by me getting punched in the eye was somewhere over 12k.  Total paid by me: about $150.

And that, my friends, is why health insurance is a MUST.

First Post in a Long Time!

So, it's been a long time, but I thought I would get back into my diary of things.

Not only that, but I felt like should try to support Posterous, mostly for Vince's sake.  It really does seem pretty cool.

I can't remember the last time I posted, but things have quite changed.  I joined and quit iZumi Bio, and currently joined RockYou! out here, working with my pal Jia, and his girl Sandy.

It's quite an interesting time; been climbing three times a week, frisbee on saturdays, and breakdancing on wednesdays.  I can't really imaging having more of a life than I do now.

However, important thing to note: I've been watching the K-Drama "Coffee Prince."  Rekindled my love for korean things, it has.  Time to get back into learning some Korean!
